Fysiko lashes serum: make your lashes longer naturally

We all want lovely natural long lashes without having to layer four rounds of mascara.

So how do we achieve length without applying makeup religiously every day?

Fysiko is a American brand that aims to double the length and volume of your lashes in 6 weeks.

Made with natural ingredients it works on lower and upper eyelashes and eyebrows to increase lashes the natural way.

Whilst the first results may be seen in 6 weeks it can take up to 16 weeks for the full result. The product is really simple to apply by running along the lash line like a eyeliner.

I was sent a tester to see if I can achieve longer lashes. I'm going to be documenting my experience every week and then compare the results along the way.

Keep tuning in to find out how it goes!

Banish blemishes with this useful guide

Browsing to Banish the Blemishes

You sneak a hesitant peek at the mirror and glimpse a new crop of acne brewing. Your level of frustration continues to escalate, and your self-confidence wants to dive back under the blankets. You open the medicine cabinet, prompting an avalanche of all those half-depleted bottles, tubs and tubes of creams, serums, scrubs and other treatments that you have tried. Even the dependable medicated pads and ointments that you turned to as a teenager to fight blemishes have turned on you. Today is the day to embark on some online research for an effective acne treatment so that you can stop the blemishes, failed products, cover sticks and wide-rimmed baseball caps from taking over.

You Are Not Alone

Adult acne is not uncommon. Some adults battle the blemish wars nonstop from puberty through adulthood. Others enjoy a ceasefire for a few years, only to come under attack again later. Women are more commonly afflicted with acne than their male counterparts, often as a result of fluctuating hormones during monthly menstrual cycles, pregnancy and all phases of menopause. A family history of adult acne can be a predisposing factor. Another potential contributor is stress, which is more rampant than ever among adults in today’s society. Although acne is frustrating and embarrassing, you have the power to take charge and to stop stressing out about it as you begin a successful online quest for a cure.

The first step is to learn more about acne, from the different types to the various available treatments. Because adult acne has been recognized as a common problem, there is a wealth of information at the Internet browser’s disposal. This education is best accomplished on reputable medical sites whose names we have all come to recognize and turn to when quickly looking up a malady or drug. Some medical university websites also provide similar informational pages. Websites containing information written by board-certified dermatologists are also excellent places to start.

Use What You Have Learned

Once you have amassed some knowledge about your condition, take some of those learned facts a step further as you search for the treatments that may have been mentioned briefly on one of those medical sites. If these sites have enabled you to narrow down the type of acne with which you are dealing, you can also search for treatments for the particular type of acne in question. Once again, it is imperative to stay with reputable sites that are written by physicians and pharmacists. You can learn about a specific product on its manufacturer’s website, but in the knowledge that the company wishes to sell its product, be sure to question all claims and search for reviews. When reading reviews, do not just take in the number of stars given by the reviewer. Take the time to read their comments, and filter out the complaints and compliments that are most important to you.

A Doctor Will Help You Conquer

Since a number of other factors can cause adult acne, such as certain medications and medical conditions, an essential step in conquering your acne is to see a physician who will rule out such causes. Search online for a dermatologist within a radius from your zip code. For each dermatologist that is listed, perform a search for that name and look for reviews. Be sure to actually read the reviewers comments to find the desired qualities best suited for your needs, and remember that not all negatives are truly red flags. A complaint regarding a two-hour wait to be seen can translate to a successful doctor that has earned a favorable reputation.

Make the decision to stop hiding behind the makeup mask. Let an effective online research session empower you to seek the best dermatologist and the right treatment for your acne and give you the clear, radiant skin that glows with confidence.

This post comes from Jay, who has been researching online at places such as the Cosmos Clinic for reviews on doctors that can assist with acne.

Bamboo Style Boho waves tousled textured mist review

Bamboo style Boohoo waves is a tousled texture mist that gives your hair the laid back curls you can only dream of.

The product is a weightless clear spray that can be applied to either wet or damp hair for "just back from the beach" tousled waves.

I sprayed the product onto towel dried hair then dried it with a hair dryer and used my GHDs to create simple waves.

As I have layers in my hair I normally don't have a problem creating curls but getting them to stay in is the problem.

I feel the spray did give my hair a bit of extra staying power and despite not using hair spray around 75% of the curls remained by late afternoon.

I give it 4/5

Advantages
•Keeps curls in for longer
•Light weight mist that doesn't make hair crispy

Disadvantages
•Has a rather strong smell that isn't the most pleasant. It doesn't last long however.

Viva La Juicy Noir the brand new perfume by Juicy Couture review

I'm a massive fan of Juicy Couture perfume. With their strong notes of juicy fruit and floral they are a real delight to the senses.

Viva La Juicy Noir, one of Juicy Couture's latest launches doesn't fail to disappoint.

The perfumes undertone is a lot more fruity then it's predecessors with wild berries, sparkling mandarin and juicy Mara Strawberry providing the key parts of the fragrance. Base notes of Amber, caramel, Creamy Vanilla and Sandalwood which when combined with honeysuckle and jasmine make for a very sensual perfume.

Whilst I only had a sample size, the full size Juicy Couture Viva La Juicy Noir is available for £34.50 for 30ml at The Perfume Shop

Advantages
•Has a gorgeous scent combining wild berries, honeysuckle, strawberry and more
•Leaves you feeling fabulous
•For a new perfume the price is pretty cheap!

Disadvantages
•Like most of the Juicy Couture range it doesn't last long enough !

Fake Bake compliments your tan with a new range of lip glosses

Famous for their fabulous tanning products Fake Bake have launched a range of lip glosses designed to enhance a tanned complexion.

Fake Bake lipgloss in Prissy Pink is a pale pink shade. The lip gloss has a gorgeous bubble gum smell which makes a welcome change from the off orange you often get. It glides on really easily and doesn't feel sticky at all. I normally don't like lip gloss as it tends to not last long but it's a pleasant product that looks great over lipstick. The colour is quite faint but for a off duty casual look its perfect.

Before

After

Close up of Prissy Pink

Fake Bake lipgloss in Beach Babe is a massive contrast to Prissy Pink with a deep caramel tone. Typically I wouldn't choose such a shade as I wouldn't know if I would like the final result. I was pleasantly surprised by the golden glow Beach Babe gave me. With a tan and a slick of Beach Babe you wouldn't look out of place sipping a cocktail.

Before

After

I give Fake Bake lip glosses 4/5

Advantages
•Lip glosses designed to compliment a tan
•The shade Beach Babe would look amazing with a tan
•Comfortable to wear and not too sticky

Disadvantages
•Prissy Pink is quite pale which might not appeal to everyone

Where's the party at? Soap and Glory Peach Party in Apricot Jam blusher block review

It's funky and stands out on the shelf with its vintage packaging.

Soap and Glory Peach Party is a blusher block with a range of colours varying from pale white to a dark plum.

The block has real shimmer in each colour section and when applied as a whole really make your cheeks glow.

Each sector is too small to really be applied alone but you can mix and match on which colours you want in your blush.

I didn't apply any highlighter after using this blusher and felt my cheeks were really shimmery. The only thing I would say let's it down is that the colour didn't really blend in very well.

Overall a reasonable blush with great shimmer and fun packaging.

I give it 3/5

Advantages
•Large range of colours mean you can create a lot of different blush looks
•Has a intense shimmer which means you can leave your highlighter in the drawer
•Unique packaging will make your makeup bag look fabulous!

Disadvantages
•The colour didn't seem to blend in very well, this was made worse by the intense shimmer which makes it stand out so much

Give your eyes a subtle glow with MUA eyeshadow in Pearl

MUA eyeshadow in Pearl is a matte eyeshadow in neutral light brown tones.

As part of Superdrugs exclusive range you can pick up great buys spending little more then a fiver.

When I went to apply the eyeshadow my finger actually went through the shadow as it was softer then it looks!

Be warned!

Once applied the product actually looks a lot more golden then brown and really highlights the eye area.

Over a period of a day the eyeshadow did lose some intensity but remained pretty much intact.

I give it 3/5

Advantages
•Grab this eyeshadow for under a fiver
•Gives a golden glow that highlights the eye area

Disadvantages
•Does lose some intensity over the day
•The product breaks up easily as I found out so could suffer a lot of damage in your makeup bag
