The toothpaste is clinically proven to whiten teeth within 14 days by gently oxidising organic stains to reveal the true brightness of your teeth. It has anti-bacterial actions to kill bacteria and remove plaque that can lead to gum problems and tooth decay. Bad breath is prevented due to the formula eliminating odour causing compounds.

The Lowdown
If you follow my blog regularly you'll know of the whitening products I've tried over the years and the few that actually worked (see my Doll White review). When I've tried whitening toothpastes however I haven't been too impressed as I've never really noticed much of a difference. Unlike a lot of whitening toothpastes the fluoride level is very high (1000 ppm) which is important to protect the integrity of your teeth.

It doesn't contain peroxide which should only really be used by trained professional and is free from sulphates and harsh abrasives. It looked really promising and I was really excited to try it out.

The toothpaste doesn't foam which is quite unusual and it seems like you don't get as much as a clean as you would with a foaming toothpaste. It does have a really pleasant mint taste and I didn't find the lack of foaming too inhibiting.

After use I can't say my teeth looked any whiter although I will be trying it out over 14 days to get the full effect.

Max Factor Velvet Volume False Lash Mascara Demo

You might have seen it advertised or on your travels in Boots or Superdrug. Maxfactor's latest release is their Velvet Volume False Lash effect mascara. Like a lot of its other releases it claims to give you a false lash effect and real volumised lashes.

After styling my hair was smooth and easy to manage. I didn't notice much change in terms of shine and softness but if you do have crazy uncontrollable hair this will certainly help to tame your tresses.

The Lowdown
I've generally been quite lucky with my skin and don't often suffer breakouts. However like everyone I do get the odd spot and redness and I'm desperate to blitz it as soon as I spot anything!

Cited as the UK's most effective antibacterial face wash, I was excited to try the latest miracle product on the market. Funnily enough just before I tried this out I did have a bit of a blemish that had popped up on my cheek.

The face wash doesn't have much of a smell and instantly foams on application. The instant foaming means you don't have to really lather it in and you can quickly wash your  face. I didn't notice too much of a difference after use although my face did have a bit more colour to it.

Whilst I haven't tested the product over a long time to see its full effects I can confirm after use my face felt soft and the product isn't harsh or drying. I'm keen to see the real impact it has on any future blemishes!

Richard Ward Chelsea Collection Keratin Sleek Shampoo and Conditioner Review

The Hype
Richard Ward, award winning celebrity hairdresser believes there is nothing better than salon-beautiful hair. If you can't get to his exclusive salon in Chelsea the Chelsea collection is designed to bring the glamour into your boudoir. Comprised of a shampoo and conditioner the products include the hero ingredient Keratin, a natural protein found in hair to keep hair looking healthy and beautiful. Keratin works by binding and interacting with the hairs natural fibres to rejuvenate it and add lustre and shine.

The Lowdown
I've tried a few shampoo and conditioners with Keratin in but so far I haven't been too impressed. Keratin Sleek Shampoo and conditioner are specifically designed to help smooth and defrizz hair to leave it glossy and hydrated. It contains lychee and strigosa seed extract which I've not seen in a hair product before and it's designed to lock your colour in. Recently i've found my hair has been damaged by my old straighteners (boo) so it doesn't look as refined as I'd hope. I'm interested to see if this little collection will be my saviour.

The shampoo needs hair to be soaked through for a full lather and doesn't lather so well on damp hair. The conditioner applied smoothly and coated the lengths of my hair with ease. Both products had quite a pleasant salon like smell, although it was quite faint except when activated (when applying or washing out). After washing I applied Wonder 10 Effect Leave in treatment so the conditions would be the same when contrasting with the shampoo/conditioner I usually use. My hair was left feeling quite soft and it did seem more shiny on the top of my hair but I didn't feel the overall finish was any different to my usual products.

The Richard Ward Chelsea Collection is reasonably priced but for how it performs you could get similar results and save yourself a few pennies with other products on the market.

Shortlisted for the Beauty Awards 2015 I was intrigued when this unique new concept was put forward to me to try. I have never seen a white lipstick before that was actually designed to change the look of other lipsticks. Ultimately the lip base gives you so many opportunities for new looks which can be used with your existing products and won't cost you a penny.

I do love a bold red lip but there are other shades I wouldn't really try like black or deep purple. Whilst I'm not sure I would try those shades even with the Colour Switch lipstick it'll be be great to see if it could transform some of my existing shades. To blend you simply use a lip brush or even your finger to create a completely new shade or even a ombre look.

The lipstick has a pleasant fruity smell and has a slight sheen when applied. I used the lipstick with a bright purple shade to see what sort of effect it had. As you can see from the before and after the Colour Switch lipstick really tones down the colour and makes the purple a light pink shade. It reduces the colour a lot and if I'm honest I do prefer the real shade but it would be good for trying some daring looks.

At just £9.00 this product is a real bargain and has the potential to revamp your entire beauty stash. With the chance to create new lipsticks and save money what are you waiting for?!
