Rimmel Scandaleyes Show Off Mascara

Rimmel's innovative new mascara Scandaleyes Showoff uses a flat and ball brush to add defined volume, lift and length. The dual nature of the brush allows the user to build up real volume without clumping by using the flat end of the brush to plump lashes whilst the ball lifts and defines.

The new shaped brush was a new development for the cheaper side of the makeup market and I was eager to see what effects it would have. The mascara went on really easily and it was quick to build up volume without clumping at all. I can't really say my lashes were really lifted anymore then a traditional mascara  but they were definitely defined and volumised.

Coming in a bright purple tube the mascara was certainly eye catching, but very bulky and quite difficult to stand up on its own.

The product is great value for what it achieves and the little novely of a dual brush really adds a little something to it. I'd give it a 4/5
