Coconuts are more then just a fairground prize, they are a highly nutritious health food that you can drink, eat and even bake with. It's great for your hair and skin and it helps to boost energy levels. Is there anything this super nutritious fruit can't do?

Keep hydrated
Coconut water is loaded with electrolytes and is perfect as a post-workout drink. It's low in calories and even helps your body rehydrate after a strenuous workout. It does have sugar in so drink in moderation if you're trying to avoid it.


Flake it up
Coconut flakes are full of medium-chain fatty acids that help to stimulate your body's metabolism which in turn leads to weight loss. They offer instant energy and are a great healthy alternative to chocolate chips in cookies or cakes.

Yoghurt with a twist
