The latest prodigy in the Maybelline collection is the Maybelline Illegal lengths mascara.
The mascara is formulated with fibre extensions in order to get you the biggest lashes possible.
The tube is a attractive shiny silver colour with pink labelling. The plastic brush is pretty long to enable you to achieve the maxiumum coverage possible.
The brush is slightly itchy on my eyes which is a shame and it can be quite difficult to apply to the bottom lashes as it feels slightly arkward and can scratch your eyes if you approach it wrong.
The result is pretty impressive and I would say my lashes do look a bit longer then normal. Unfortunately in the picture I don't think this length is really that evident. As the mascara uses fibres in its formula it does from time to time cause itching when the fibres catch the eye.
I would say it's a reasonable product, but little things like the scratchy brush really let it down.
I'd give it a 3/5.

- One of the first mascaras to encompass fibres without having to use two products
- Scratches your eyes quite easily
- Hard to get onto the bottom lashes
- Fibres can be quite itchy
